We have a really interesting Startup Saturday coming up in Mumbai this weekend on the 8th. IndusGeeks, a very exciting company offering virtual reality experience solutions and O’Cricket, a company doing something very intriguing relating to cricket are presenting. We are looking forward to their 3D demos and will post them here as soon as they are available.
I am also posting presentations made at Startup Saturday in Bangalore last month. 8k Miles, an online collaboration and outsourcing provider incubated at NSRCEL presented and although I was not present, I would have liked to ask the founders on how 8k Miles is different from Elance and ODesk.
The second presentation was by Manjula Sridhar, co-founder of Aujas Networks. Aujas is a digital security services company offering a host of services that a lot of software companies and service providers tend to overlook. Security is a major concern with an increasing number of web and mobile products we use open to attacks and hackers. I also had a very interesting chat with iViz, another IDG Ventures portfolio company, a couple of days back when Bikash Barai who is iViz’s CEO explained what they do and the response they are getting from the market. I am going to post iViz in a separate and detailed manner here very soon.
