Headstart research on startup trends in India
Headstart Network Foundation (www.headstart.in), the organization behind this blog, is a non-profit organization focused on creation of a startup ecosystem in India. We trust that many of you have benefited through our initiatives, the most notable of them being Startup Saturdays, which are monthly meeting places for entrepreneurs in 9 cities and Headstart events, 4 of which have taken place across Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Sensing lack of credible data on the trends of entrepreneurship, we have taken on this ambitious project to research about the trends of entrepreneurship in India. The report which, inter alia, will cover top needs of a startup in India and the region-wise trends on technology startups, will be shared freely with participants of this research. Talking about clean tech we start thinking about recycling waste to make something all commend but no one buys. We think about the climate change speeches, NGOs, corporate social responsibility and all. Is there a Business sense to all this? A remote possibility is all we can say.
